Who I am
I’m a Montreal psychologist and I created BloomAssessments.ca to support neurodivergent adults. As someone who has ADHD, I understand first-hand my clients’ need to feel understood and accepted in school, at home and in their communities. When not working, I enjoy travelling, discovering new cultures, and spending time in nature. In addition, for over 20 years I have been practicing meditation and strive to bring mindfulness into my everyday life.
MyApproach
I offer assessment and coaching services to help neurodivergent adults thrive. In my work I use the strengths-based approach to create realistic goals for short term and long-term success. I offer respect and compassion in helping empower my clients on their journey. I endorse the affirming therapy approach that takes into considerations individual’s unique strengths and past experiences. I have extensive experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and am also dedicated to empowering individuals identifying as 2SLGBTQI+.
My Credentials
I received a B.Sc. degree in psychology from the University of Toronto and a M.A. degree in School & Applied Child Psychology from McGill University. I am licenced with the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ). I am also certified to provide autism spectrum diagnostic assessments using the ADI-R and ADOS-2 instruments.
For the past 15 years I have had the privilege of supporting the neurodivergent community in Montreal. I also worked as a psychologist at the McGill University Counselling and Mental Health Clinic.
